Export to external catalog/album (resolved)

Lightroom has this feature where we can export our images direct into external catalog/album such as Flickr or even Facebook album. Are there plans to include this in PSU roadmap? Not a deal breaker but something high on the wishlist. Even if that's implemented as a separate add-on.

OK I saw this in your Feature List so FLICKR (and a few other sites) are supported. Any plans for Facebook Album?

I think if you do a search the situation hasn't changed since viewtopic.php?p=110300#p110300 I also recall that the API seemed to change on a regular basis that made supporting it a problem.
Myself I just export relevant images for an event to directory associated with the event called "FB" sized etc. according to the preferences for the week with FB (they change on a regular basis often with no warning) and then login to FB and upload to my pages.

Agreed, I sometimes take this approach even with Flickr as that interface has been temperamental in the past for various reasons. Uploading via a folder gives an easy and consistently reliable workflow without hassle caused by occasional bugs and API changes, even though it means an extra step. Of course you are still dependent on the site's uploader which may or may not bring its own idiosyncrasies and occasional changes. Flickr's is fairly good though.
