Looking for easy ways to make sub-selections

Post by ChrisM »

Hi
Newbie user here- so sorry if this is obvious.

Not sure how to put this. I am looking for an easy way to make quick sub-selections within folders. For example, if I did a photo shoot and I have a iphone image folder, a raws image folder, and a jpged toned selects image folder- I sometimes need to quickly make selections within the folders. So for example- in iphone folder, I just want to see the jpgs, versus the heic, versus the mov files. How do I easily do that? In the program I am coming form- Media Pro, I would simply choose both the Folder:iphone, and Type: HEIC and only see this sub-selection. I can do that for keywords, or types, or dates, etc. Is there a way to do that in Photo Supreme? I like using the ALL tab so I can get a quick look at all the info

Thanks
Chris

A warm welcome to the forum. You can hold down the Cmd key (Ctrl on Windows) and select multiple items. So click folder IPhone and Cmd click Type HEIC to get a similar result.

Personally I would select folder iPhone, open the Filter bar and filter type HEIC there.

Awesome- both those ways work. Perfecto! As I become more comfortable with the program, the more I realize how powerful it is.
