Dear all
I'm experiencing an issue with RAW file thumbnails in PSU. As soon as I rotate a RAW file from e.g. landscape to portrait in CaptureOne and the thumbnail of that RAW file is recreated in PSU, the thumbnail looks misplaced (appears moved half to the side), where in CaptureOne everything looks fine.
Same issue appears to different camera manufacturers RAW files, no difference with PSU versions.
So far I helped myself to create "thumbnail" jpg images and add them as versions in PSU. Want to avoid these extra steps in the workflow. Am I trying something impossible here?
Thanks,
Seb
Thumbnails of RAW files look weird after rotating the image in external RAW editor

A warm welcome to the forum.
Can you share a cos file for that image (the image to go with it would be nice, but not import).
You can send it to support@idimager.com

Thanks for your reply, Hert
I have sent a link where you can download the files.
When I tried to repeat the issue, I discovered a few more details:
In case the original image appearing in landscape, only rotating the uncropped file has no weird effect in PSU, actually, the thumbnail is not even rotated.
As soon as cropping is applied to the rotated image in CaptureOne, rebuilding the thumbnail shows the weird result, up to half shift to the left if rotated +/- 90 degrees.
In case the original image appears in portrait mode, the thumbnail in PSU does not rotate, no matter if rotation/cropping was applied in CaptureOne.
Thanks for looking into this,
Seb
