Picture quality very bad

The colors in the video look very washed out. Is this a recent calibrated monitor? To me it looks like the profile generates wrong colors but maybe on your screen they look right.

When you move to a new image then it is normal to shortly see a lower quality version while the full image is being loaded or while the color management is being applied to the displayed view box.

Same for me, since I switched to version 6, the colours are very saturated!

If colors are off then that means that very likely your color management settings are wrong. Check your color management settings. If you read through the entire topic, you’ll find that here too the color difference was due ti wrong color management settings.
Set the input profile always to sRGB. Set the output profile to your calibrated monitor profile. If you don’t use a calibrated monitor then set the output profile to sRGB as well.
