Picture quality very bad

Without Full Loading, PSU shows you the preview that is stored in the database (and created during thumb building). Full Loading, loads the full image from file.

When I restart PSU it is good. I can open it with double-click or Enter. This one photo is always good. When I go with the cursor keys on the next picture and go back again, it is bad. And then it stays bad.

Are you perhaps using a special kind of keyboard or mouse? Or do you have software installed that interacts with keyword or mouse?

I understand that. But the program must scales it back to the display down. For me it looks like this: The more scaling then it has to be worse.

has something else come up here? I am always reading along, since it seems to be the same with me.
The 100% view is very good, but in the full screen view (1920, about 32%) it is very bad as the photos are displayed possibly over-sharpened (like Bongo's photos). In normal preview (about 26%) it gets even worse.
The preview images stored in the database are good (are always displayed briefly).
Color is also always good.
If I do not load the photos in full size, it is always good, but I can then badly decide whether a photo section is better.
Can this be changed in the program or do we have to live with it?

I've illustrated that I can\t reproduce that here. If you find a way to reproduce that then please let me know how.
One thing is sure: PSU does NEVER apply any sharpening to the displayed image, unless you opt to do so.
What happens if you open an image in the viewer, and then resize the application slowly to a smaller size. Do you see an effect?

FWIW; nothing has changed in the way images are displayed so this can't be new for you.

What output does this script give you?

was able to reproduce this by testing on a configuration with a comparable low-res monitor like you use.
This should be resolved for the next build.

I also installed build 3667. After the start of PSU, it looks good. But if I click to enlarge, it's bad again. And then it stays bad.

The script returns the same result as Friedrich. My resolution is also 1920x1200.

Hi Bongo, I can reproduce this in the preview size now as well.
When viewing in full screen mode it is fine for me.
I am now using version 3671 of PSU.

I tested it at 3677. That's better. In the preview and in the full screen it looks good. And it stays good.

But if I go in the preview to next photo, for a short time it is bad. If I enable "Load Full Size Image" and go to the next photo, the colors change for a short time. It is particularly visible if "Click-To-Zoom" is enable.

Another additional info. If I disable the Color Management Disable, in this short time the color change is not visible. But there are always the wrong colors.

It's best in the Slide Show. There are no problems.

Looking at the video, you're where you started.

You have Color Management misconfigured.

1. Set both your input and output profile to sRGB.
2. Make sure that you have the preference to build color managed thumbs/previews switched ON
3. Rebuild the thumbnails (you can manually update thumbs with Ctrl+Alt+T)

The Output Profile is from my calibrated monitor. So I get the right colors. Only when I go to the next photo in the next photo for a short time the wrong color.

Is this not that the right setting?

Whenever I change something in Color Management, I re-create the thumblails.

But independently of the color. When I go in the preview of the next photo, it has this bad quality for a short time. I mean this image noise. I hope you see it in the video.
