Slow transition between tabs (folder to category)

Please update to build 3575.

So far, that's a huge improvement - no more than 8 seconds to switch from category to folder tabs, and 20 to 25 seconds to fully expand branches of the folder tree.

Build 3575 indeed provided improvement. Displaying all counters for 262 subfolders (5.500 files, whole catalog contains 140.000 photos) now takes 40-50 seconds instead of 90.

Unfortunately this still doesn't make V6 more useable since I mostly use the folder view and half of my collection is organized into a year/date structure which means 200-300 folders per branch. While PSU is loading the counters it also becomes so sluggish that nothing can be really done until it finishes.

I've been using this folder structure since IDimager V5 without problems.

Out of curiosity I reinstalled PSU V5 in a separate folder with the same catalog (restored from backup). Displaying counters in any folder is basically instantaneous.

Thank you for the quick response. Loading time is about the same (~50 s) but PSU now feels more responsive during this phase. Still, for example if I click on photos in any subfolder the Label assignment panel says "no images selected " until all counters have been shown in the parent branch.

Sorry I wasn't clear. Displaying all counters for 262 subfolders takes about 50 seconds, same as with build 3575.

Build 3575 was good, 3581 flies (under 3 seconds for all the above mentioned timings). Excellent!

I'm impressed. Build 3583 now works as expected.
Everything I use is properly quick. Only 1-3 seconds for switches.
