Hmm?
With an image highlighted in thumbnail view and open the light table, that image is displayed. When I click the + icon, the next image from thumbnail view is displayed. If I click the + sign again, I get the next image.

It wasn't doing anything as I only had 2 images in the test folder, both already in the light table. I was expecting it to maybe pop up a dialog to allow me to select another image. Or at least do something. I'd suggest that it should be greyed out in these circumstances to indicate that it can't be used.
