How to save detail profile edits

Having difficulty making changes to Detail Profile. When I look at my detail profile, I see that Description is set to no changes. If I create a description using the Detail panel, I would like to be saved to the database and the image file. I try to edit the Detail file by changing the setting to "Replace content" it changes to "Green". Only option appears to be "Ok" but when I work with another image, the Description has been reset to "Don't make changes". Is there a "save button, or perhaps I don't know how this process works???

As soon as you type or paste in the description field, then the 'dot' will automatically change from 'don't make changes' to 'replace content' (if you have more than one image selected - otherwise there is no dot at all).

You also have the option to manually change that to 'append to content' or 'clear content'.

'OK' writes your description to the file.

Thank you for clearing that up! I wondered about that because looking at the xmp files with Notepad, it was clear that the description was indeed inserted.
