Syncing doesn't work any more

Syncing of Metadata into the file (Ctrl+S, Tools/"Sync all unsnced images" -- sorry, don't know the exact English terms since I'm using the German localisation) doesn't work any more after at least the last two updates. The process window on the bottom left opens und immediately closes again. Current installed version is 5.0.0.2426, running as a non-server version in W10 environment.

I also have second problem with file data (which I'll put into a topic on its own).

How many thumbs are there in catalog section States and then Out of Sync images?

There are 248 thumbs displayed. -- Additionally, I made a screenshot of the error message shown which you can find attached to this post.

As I said in my other current post, psu is not able to write files into the respective directory. This only occurs with the two latest import direcrories; older ones work fine. So maybe the trouble has to do with Microsoft's latest Windows update which possibly changed permission handling?

Thanks for the hint, your questioned is answered there. I followed your advice, but the same as before: no XMP written.
