geotagging costs for Google API Key

Hi! I see that geotagging requires an API key from Google which involves a fee. The cost appears to be $5/1000 API calls. But I don't know how often or what triggers a call from Photo Supreme to Google.

Can someone give me a feel for the cost of this service? I'm a hobbist with about 30,000 images. I hope that doesn't result in a cost of 30*$5 = $150!

On the other hand, the Google documentation says "For each billing account, for qualifying Google Maps Platform SKUs, a $200 USD Google Maps Platform credit is available each month, and automatically applied to the qualifying SKUs." Does this $200 credit apply towards Photo Supreme?

Google gives $200 worth of calls free every month. Psu makes google api calls and so the $200 free credit is used. For personal use I can’t imagine anyone exceeding this free credit.

Of course you never know what Google's next move will be and so I recommend that you set billing limits for your account.
