Hi,
my removable usb Hard Drives appear on F drive, so to differentiate between them obviously one needs to give each scan of each drive a unique name and I adhesive tape label my drives usb_HDD_001 usb_HDD_002 etc so I need to alter the 'folder' name if thats what the name in [ ] is to such titles, and I hope to see then listed:-
D drive
E drive
F: usb_HDD_001
F: usb_HDD_002
and so on, or maybe one wont see the F after a few drives are scanned.
How is this done ?
How does one work with CDs DVDs that all get seen on optical K drive, usb sticks that all show on L drive, and usb_HDD that show either on F or M drive depending on usb socket I use ?
I right click F:\ [My Passport; 74B7-6DCC] and choose edit folder name for my first usb_HDD scan on F drive and nothing appears at all. I thought a chance to alter the name from that to usb_HDD_008 would occur.
It is a bit worrying to get asked to select a Folder to scan when one has a drive to select.
Thanks

using removable drives, edit folder name , what should I see appear ?
Re: using removable drives, edit folder name , what should I see appear ?
From my Windows days I seem to remember that it's possible to name a drive, so that you could rename your 2 drives to read:
drive F landscapes
and
drive F people
It might not be that way today, but it's worth checking.
