preferred strategy for upgrading from Photo Supreme V3 to V4

Should I uninstall Photo Supreme V3 before installing Photo Supreme V4?

My concerns:

• corrupting the catalog by accidently updating from two coexisting versions

• damaging the V4 program by uninstalling V3 at a later time

I do have the catalog data backed up.

before upgrading i recommend to do a compact and repair...
you dont need to uninstall V3 but you can / i removed V3 afterward - no problems with that
but having a backup is always good.
when you hace a 2k or even a 4k monitor you might want to recreate the thumbnail and preview database anyway, so you can savely delete the thumbnail db and recreate it...
