Parent / Subfolder thumbnail view option?

I'm looking to see if there is an option to click on a parent folder and see the contents of all the Subfolders in it, similar to how Lightroom operates

Yes, there is: just click on the counter for the parent folder, in the catalog explorer. This trick works in the Folders view, as well as in any other view.

Also worth knowing that Alt + click on the counter shows all images except the folder contents.
