How to save an inversed filter?

Post by lippe »

In the filter menu is 'Version sets' to filter all images with version. I invert the filter to get the not versioned images and get:
'Excluding filter states (Version Sets)'
For future use, i want to save this filter and click the 'Save current filter'
If i reuse the filter, i get ' filter states (Version Sets)'

I can confirm this behaviour (with any inverted filter). I would say it's a bug and it deserves to be reported in Mantis.

Anyone know if this is reported in Mantis? I do not have a login for it.

I am having the same issue creating an inverted 'Rated' filter.

Maybe it is, and maybe it's not. But I think we're seeing the same issue many times over, although with different details.

If we had documentation for the entire set of functions, then people could see their desired or expected function does not work as expected because:

PSu is supposed to work as desired, but does not, hence a bug.
PSu is designed to work differently than the person's designed or expected behavior.

We could even "crowdsource" the proofreading of this documentation if a draft were made available.

Just my two cents, again.
