Sometimes when I am building a query or just moving around the DB it would be great if I could tell PSU to not try to update the display images. A simple button that says freeze display that you could toggle on and off would be great. I have almost 90,000 images, so if I accidentally click a category it will try to display the 50,000 image max and it takes a while. Thanks.

If you click on a category then it won't populate all lower level images, unless you click on the counter.
Click the expander icon in front of a item in the tree to expand without changing the selection. This is analogous with how OSs work.
An option to "pause" display would look odd to me, and very confusing when someone clicks it and forgets about it (hey PSU isn't working anymore).
