New PhotoSupreme 2.2.1.1038 Postgresql failed initial instal

I am trying to install PhotoSupreme PostgreSQL version 2.2.1.1038 on a remote PostgreSQL install version 9.3.4-3 running on Windows Server 2012 R2.

I can get connected to the PostGreSQL server from Photo Supreme and am able to provide the postgres admin username and password, the database is created and I get the message about the default Photo Supreme user. I then get the photo supreme login window and attempt to login and I get a message stating that the database is being updated... However the yellow bar gets about 1/3 of the way through and the Progress window locks up: " (Not Reponding)" is displayed in the window title bar. I have left it sit for over 20 min with no change. I have tried installing directly on the server that is running the PostgreSQL server and on a Windows 7 64bit computer with the same result.

I followed the directions linked from the installer on how to setup the PostGresql server, including the performance settings.

What else can I do?

Thank you so much for reporting this. I've *instantly* released an update for the PostgreSQL version; build 1039. Download it from the website.

After installing it, it will ask you again to create a new database, you can cancel there as you already have one. Then it asks to connect to an existing instance, confirm that and enter the correct details of your database in the login dialog. If all is well it should then continue the upgrade where it left off.
