trial expired even though I already have a license?

Hi all,

I did the latest update and when I next started up the program it wouldn't let me in saying my trial had expired even though I have a fully valid license that was working just fine the day before. Any suggestions?

The licentie should be stored in the Documents folder and shouldn't be removed there. On startup, the software checks for the existence if the license file in the Documents folder of the OS and if it's not there then the software reverts to trial.

Can you check if the license file is still in the Documents folder of the OS and if not, redownload it

I'm not sure what you mean by the Documents folder? (I'm on Windows)

The license seems to be in the Program Files folder.

Hi Monica,

The Windows Documents folder can be found in the left panel of the Windows Explorer.

No luck so far. My tree looks a wee bit different (see attached). The error message is "F0EFF7D204BECE9F9F9B9999A2A2A9A3" if that helps. Any more suggestions appreciated since I really need to get some photos processed and posted.

You need to copy the file to the folder above the one you're using now, "My Documents"

Good news - I re-downloaded the license file and it seems to be working now. The license file must have gotten corrupted or something. It's working anyways. Thanks!
