Morning,
When I was using IDI my workflow was to do all the photo editing in external programs then move the files into a "Done" folder. From there I would download them into IDI. I am looking for a way to replicate this in PS. The key things I liked in the IDI download was the ability to select photos for import by thumbnail, and move them into a new folder as a part of the import process deleting the copies in the done folder.
Appreciate any advice,
Jamie
"Downloading" images in PS
Re: "Downloading" images in PS
If you start the import wizard and click 'Select specific images...' (bottom left) you'll see an interface that's more like the old IDI V5 downloader.
From there you can select specific images, select where images are copied to, etc.
BTW: you can switch off the wizard permanently in the preferences.
