PSu, Luminar 2018 and Aurora 2018

Post by OldRadioGuy » 26 Nov 17 3:07

Has anyone tried indexing the native files (.lmnr & .aurora) of these two new applications in PSu? I note the Mac Finder does not see any thumbnail. At least on my system running Sierra.

macOS High Sierra; 27-inch iMac, Retina 5K; Photo Supreme 4; DxO PhotoLab; ON1 Photo RAW 2018; Affinity Photo 1.6.7

You can manage any file type with PSU. Just add the extensions to the preferences-Other file types. PSU will use the OS for these file types to build thumbs. You mention that Finder doesn’t show thumbs and so I won’t expect you to see thumbs in PSU either...but you will be able to manage them.

Version running on Mac EL Capitan will show the .lmnr files, although personally I don't know why you would want to see them.

However, Luminar destroys the headline, description, keywords and copyright information in the exported jpeg after processing a raw file.
Never say never change, but using Mac since 2005. Photo Supreme I endorse the interoperability of files between applications and systems.
