Creating XMP MWG-RS schema for Picasa faces

Post by lauff » 24 Sep 13 4:17

Hi,

To see and use the face tags from Picasa 3.9 I try to create a mwg-rs schema in the XMP editor.
Unfortunately I can't find a complete description of the element and data types used in that,

The output from the exiftool looks like this:

Code: Select all

<mwg-rs:Regions rdf:parseType="Resource">
  <mwg-rs:AppliedToDimensions stDim:w="2848" stDim:h="4288" stDim:unit="pixel"/>
  <mwg-rs:RegionList>
    <rdf:Bag>
      <rdf:li>
        <rdf:Description mwg-rs:Name="Marius Lauff" mwg-rs:Type="Face">
          <mwg-rs:Area stArea:x="0.326545" stArea:y="0.394706" stArea:w="0.540028" stArea:h="0.430737" stArea:unit="normalized"/>
        </rdf:Description>
      </rdf:li>
    </rdf:Bag>
  </mwg-rs:RegionList>
</mwg-rs:Regions>
Can some please provide help to create the Schema?

Thanks,
Markus

I found another example.
The part I am interested in is (again) the section around mwg-rs.
(please note that this example does not state the name of the person - which is pretty crucial for a face ;-) )

Code: Select all

Have you looked at the MWG Tech Specs?

Hi gcoupe,

Yes I looked at the MWG spec. In fact I am more struggling with the idimager side.
