Sorry I wasn't clear. Displaying all counters for 262 subfolders takes about 50 seconds, same as with build 3575.

Thank you for the quick response. Loading time is about the same (~50 s) but PSU now feels more responsive during this phase. Still, for example if I click on photos in any subfolder the Label assignment panel says "no images selected " until all counters have been shown in the parent branch.

Build 3575 indeed provided improvement. Displaying all counters for 262 subfolders (5.500 files, whole catalog contains 140.000 photos) now takes 40-50 seconds instead of 90.

Unfortunately this still doesn't make V6 more useable since I mostly use the folder view and half of my collection is ...

I have an issue with the folder view which might be another manifestation of this problem. If I expand a folder with many subfolders the counters will show up very slowly:
- for 262 subfolders it takes 1 minute and 35 seconds
- for 34 subfolders it's 15 seconds

The speed seems to be related to ...

I have tested it with NEF, TIFF, JPG, PNG files, including NEF and JPG versions of the same photo, converted by PSU, the camera and ViewNX2, with the same results.

Could you please repeat the lighttable test described in the report but now at 100% zoom? Apparently LT was set to default zoom when ...
