Thank you; very helpful.
Sorry to be so dumb about this. The app I had started using prior to PSU required every face to be confirmed; that may be why I've been confused. I The stand-alone version of that app was discontinue and went to subscription only. I'm glad it did because I like PSU much ...

Re: Face Recognition?
Thank you, Hert. Since I've already confirmed hundreds of faces, it sounds like I've goofed myself up. Do I need to start over with PSU to reset everything? And how can I tell if a face has been confirmed or not? I thought a blue box meant the face had not been confirmed; that's why I've been ...

Face Recognition?
I'm just getting started with Face Recognition and must be doing a lot wrong. I've read the instructions in the manual three times and am still puzzled. Perhaps I just don't understand what Face Recognition is and is not supposed to do.
Here are the issues I've run into:
1) PSU has identified many ...

Re: Hardcopy Photo Books?
Thank you, everyone! It sounds like the share option is what will work best for me. When I'm ready to upload digital images to a photo service, I'll do that.
I've read all of the manuals a couple of times, but there's so much to this app that it is going to take me awhile to absorb it all. And I've ...

Hardcopy Photo Books?
I'm using Portfolios to gather photos that I want to use to make hard copy photo books. But since portfolios don't store the actual images, doesn't that mean that I'll have to back to my physical drive and search for each of the photos there to upload to a service that makes photo books? Or is there ...

Re: Should I Create a 2nd Catalog?
Thank you for your input, Alain.
I ended up using both approaches. Because I had so many duplicates, I started with separate catalogs. I found it easier to manage the initial de-dupe process that way. Now that I've finished that initial de-duplicating, I'm combining the two catalogs and separating ...

Running PSU from External Hard Drive?
Is anyone running PSU from an external hard drive? My computer is a 2022 MacBook Air with a 500 GB SSD drive, and I'm starting to run low on hard drive space. I have about 100,000 assets in PSU, mostly image and video files plus a few PDFs and other documents; all are stored on an external SSD ...

Re: Synchronize?
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I'm referring to States/Out of Sync. I just tried what you do, and it worked!
I'm still in the free trial period of PSU and have MUCH to learn.

Synchronize?
I have five images that are not synchronized. Is there any way to get them to synchronize? Do I need to delete them and re-import them? I hoped that maybe shutting down both PSU and my computer, then restarting both would cause those files to synchronize but it didn't.
Thank You

Thank you both for your helpful replies! This is a feature-full app, and it is taking a while to learn. But I'm liking it a lot!

Number Next to Filename in a Thumbnail?
In thumbnails, there's a box with a number in it to the far right of the filename. Most thumbnails have a zero in that box, but a number of others have a number ranging anywhere from 1-9. What does that number mean, please?

Should I Create a 2nd Catalog?
I'm just getting started with Photo Supreme. I've thus far imported about 80,000 images into my catalog. All of those are "general" images--various events organized by year. I also have about 15,000 genealogy assets that I'd like to put into PS. They're a mix of photos and PDFs, probably about 60 ...
