Indeed, if my images are not on a shared folder, I will not be able to "locate" them through PS from both server and client at the same time.
But that does not explain why I cannot export images in original size.

I have a machine A (server) which has a PS Server Edition installed with PostgreSQL. This machine holds the databases and all original images.
When I log on that machine and use PS, I can export and locate original images without any problem ...

I work remotely using a Server Edition, so my local executable does not have the "Locate in folder" button, and the "export to folder" button always downsizes the size/resolution of the exported image.
My question: how can I export the original image from disk using Server edition of PS ...

Yes that is what I did, first create a new PSU catalog. After the empty databases have been created, I then restored the old data on top.
PSU has been recreating the thumbs for 3 days, I was connected as admin on server.

After a system crash I was able to recover all my photos by reinstalling postgresql and importing the database.
When starting PSU on the server, all is correct.
When starting PSU on another computer using admin user, I get this error:
