Re: Problem: Color display of images in the catalog (PSU 2025)
Either that, or close PSU, delete the thumbnail database (or just give it another name) and start PSU again. That should force PSU to create a new thumbnail database and build new thumbs.
This tip was really good (one hour for almost 45.000 images) - thanks again! And the thumbnail database is ...

Re: Problem: Color display of images in the catalog (PSU 2025)
I am on a Mac and there you would 1. select a thumbnail 2. use command and A to select all other thumbnails and then right-click and select Rebuild Thumbnails. I do not have a windows machine but I am sure google can help
This works under Windows, too. However, since I sort my images into ...

Thanks, Sigi, I thought the same thing, but where can I find this option (Rebuild thumbnails)?Sigi wrote: 03 Apr 25 11:00 Jens, just select ALL thumbnails and click on Rebuild thumbnails. That should do the trick.
If I right-click on a folder, I can't find it.

Re: Problem: Color display of images in the catalog (PSU 2025)
Thanks, Hert, that was it. :)
One more question, since all the thumbnails are still "very colorful" and only when double-clicking on the thumbnail do they no longer display the excessive saturation:
I updated the thumbnails for a few folders. Now the thumbnails also have the "correct saturation ...

Maybe you can share a screenshot of how you configured it.
Yes, of course, Hert:
These are my color management settings in PSU:

Re: Problem: Copying all catalog labels from one image to another
If you mean 'Paste Labels from Clipboard', for me (on Windows) it only pastes them once. But maybe 'Insert Catalog Labels' is something else that I can't recall?
Ha, I've just realized something:
It's not the copying and pasting of the catalog labels that's causing the problem, but rather the ...

Problem: Color display of images in the catalog (PSU 2025)
I have color-calibrated monitors (using Calibrite Display Plus HL).
PSU displays colors differently (far too bright, with too much color saturation) than all other programs (Capture One Pro, Photoshop, even FastStone Image Viewer).
What am I doing wrong? Do you have any tips?
Thanks in advance, Jens

Problem: Copying all catalog labels from one image to another
What I really don't like is that copying all catalog labels from one image to another adds them together. For example, if I click Insert Catalog Labels three times, all the labels are also included three times in the target image....

Good idea to save the codes to a text file, in case you need to reinstall PSU at any time.

Thank you for your tip about configuring it yourself.
I actually already knew that this was possible with software like this.

[solved] Info-Window and Light Table
I would like to display the very nice and clear info window permanently (preferably "floating"). Is this possible?
I haven't yet realized the benefit of the "light table". How can I hide this tab?

Great. It’s beyond me why nobody reported this via the designated channel. Surely nobody can overlook the statement at the top of the forum. Now it’s orange and even bigger….
I intentionally wrote this here in the user to user forum, because it could also have been that I had set something up ...

Re: PSU 2025 >Details >Focal length
FWIW:
macOS Sequoia 15.3.1 on an Apple Silicon M1 machine
PSU 2025.0.3.7427
My setup is identical, except being an M4 Mac mini, and I do not have this problem. I just wanted to eliminate this as a potential issue, unless it is M1 vs M4.
The current update 2025.0.3.7434 solved the problem ...

Re: PSU 2025 >Details >Focal length
Even though it's not nice for us, manusz, luckily I'm not the only one with this problem.
By the way, it still occurs in the update 2025.0.3. 7427 that I just installed.
OS is Win 11 Pro (with all current updates).
I use NordVPN. Since it could theoretically be the cause, I deactivated the entire ...
