Re: Download update speed
Good idea. I'll try a router reboot although other downloads go much faster, but you never know.

Download update speed
For a while now it can take several minutes to download an update to PhotoSupreme where it used to be very fast download. Installation time is the same as in the past. I'm downloading right now and it's been downloading for over 5 minutes and still working at it (88%).

Re: Same file name across several folders
Thank you but I don't see that option in Run Script from Repository when right clicking on an image nor in From Depository from filtering options.
I couldn't check out but do you know if that searches the catalog or can I limit to specific folders if it finds matching file name?

Same file name across several folders
I've imported a number of photos and put in a Pending folder. I think most of them have already been cataloged so I've tried using Same file names in States tab using dynamic search as I want to limit the Pending comparing against Year 2024 and Year 2025 folders on computer. My results don't show ...

Re: Are custom fields saved in file?
Thank you. I figured out that I had set it to private but when made new one as public it shows up although I don't know why I do that because I see Photo Supreme already saves the "collection name" in xmp. I'll probably us it to add some additional information.

Are custom fields saved in file?
I've created a custom field of Portfolio and save the portfolio name in that field. I assumed it could be easily found in the file by other apps that can read jpg metadata but I can't find portfolio names in another app. Have I misunderstood where the custom field is saved? If so, is there some xmp ...

Re: Changing Titles
I think the Document Title is a separate field from File name. Some devices do load the original file name into that field when its created so that you can track the source of a file even if the filename is subsequently changed.
In my case Document Title is the file name. I upload to Smugmug ...

Re: Changing Titles
Do you mean Details|Descriptions|Document Title ?
You can add it to the Info panel as well of course, there are a couple of other fields with TITLE in the name as well.
Yes. Sorry I wasn't clearer.
While going to that field just now I think I've found how to make the context menu work. I was ...

Changing Titles
I thought there was a way to change a file title with some predefined context menu. I think in the past I could select Details tab and the right click on Titles and select insert Headline. I no longer have that context menu in 2025. Is there another way to do that?

Can't backup PSu
I'm trying to backup PSU 2024.2.2.6657 on Macbook Sonoma and always get not responding and have to force quit. I've tried to verify folders and found one folder with 3 sub folders missing (which they were) and fixed that but the main folder shows 542 files on the PSU line although when looking at ...

Re: Light Table white screen
Thanks for the keyboard combination. I didn't know that. I just installed 6536 so will see if the problem continues.
I was going to report on Mantis but can't log in so will have to first contact Hert about that issue first.

Light Table white screen
I don't know if this is a bug, user error, or maybe computer resources maxed but could use some input before submitting to Mantis if necessary.

Re: Camera mode setting
Edit for solution.
I found that adding a new field going to Advanced->XMP (If available)->EXIF - Specific Properties Schema the "Mode Program" shows as an option. Odd though while it worked by adding again it's the same field name as my old field that didn't work.
Original comment.

Yes. I looked there but couldn't find anything that tells me Camera Mode. Unless I didn't dig deep enough?
