Sorry, my bad!
I had the write-back options set to keep everything local to the database.
The script works as intended, thank you!
(Reminder to self: check settings before jumping to conclusions....)
Thank you again!

Re: Fill EXIF date stamps from MS Photo Date Acquired?
Thank you Hert for helping me.
Unfortunately the script did not change the Exif dates.
Would it help if I send you an example file with the MS date filled?

Fill EXIF date stamps from MS Photo Date Acquired?
In one of my catalogs I have approximately 900 images with wrong EXIF date stamps.
They are all set to 2003:01:01 00:00:00
This occurred most likely because the owner of the camera forgot to set the correct date and time after changing the batteries.
These images all appear as expected in January ...

Re: Understanding the Out of sync indicator
Oké, thank you, that is clear.
I just realized that, even if one could hide the indicator on the thumbnail, there would still be the Out of Sync in the States tab that would tell there are files to be synced, so the thumb would be only a partial solution.
I guess I'll have to live with it, this ...

Re: Understanding the Out of sync indicator
Thanks for responding.
I understand now better what is going on under the hood.
Is there anything I can do on my side to make the out-of-sync indicator invisible?

Understanding the Out of sync indicator
Dear all,
Please help me understand how and when the out-of-sync marker is triggered.
I have been struggling with this for some time now, but I don’t fully understand how it works….
The way I understand it is that the icon indicates that the database contains metadata that needs to be written to ...

Re: Filter "From Repository" not showing repository?
Interesting, its not available from the Filter drop down for me either BUT it is available from the drop-down on the new Tab option where the list is visible .... hence its not a poor web link but something specific to the Filter drop down selection .....
Yes I see, you are right.
I am sure ...

Thanks.
Glad it is not me, not something on my system or on my interweb connection.
I guess we have to wait for Hert now....

Filter "From Repository" not showing repository?
When I select Filter - From Repository I don't see the drop-down list anymore.
See attached screenshot.
Is this just me? Internet problems perhaps, my system refusing to contact the repository server?

This is on macOS 13.0.1, PSU build 7.4.2.4630

Thank you for the very fast response, thank you for the script.
I just tested it, it is extremely useful and way more flexible than what I had in mind

Find images with sidecars?
Now that build 4390 introduced HEIC and MOV files as sidecars of each other I am wondering….
Is it possible to find all HEIC/MOV pairs in the catalog?
I can easily find all HEIC files, but I see no way to drill down to only the HEIC files having a MOV sidecar.
Thinking of it, it might be just as ...

Re: Photo Supreme V7 is available
I upgraded today. Given that this is a major version bump I was prepared for something unexpected, but the process went extremely smooth.
