Re: Customize Font Size and Window Layout
By adjusting the scaling in the OS, that does not impact image quality, only fonts and UI components. That is how scaling works.
No, it is not. It's also clear from the Displays settings too: if you go to “Advanced" and enable the option "Show resolutions as list", what it's labeled as "Larger ...

Re: Thumbnails from .THM rendered with wrong colours
I suppose it's "Color Mangement"/"Use color management to generate thumbnails (slows down)", right? It's enabled.
The embedded profile in the .THM is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 (checked with macOS Preview and exiftool).
The thumbnail is directly exported from Capture One (only renamed).

Thumbnails from .THM rendered with wrong colours
While they worked well before PhotoSupreme 2024, as you can see below (the small Preview window shows the .THM file) they recently started to be rendered with over-saturated, too contrasted and “cold” colours. I thought that it was related to the colour profile in the .THM files, but switching from ...

Re: Customize Font Size and Window Layout
If you're referring to the option of macOS versions prior to Sonoma that concerned the text size (as explained here ), it changed the overall resolution of the screen. PSU surely uses the max dpi available, but the operating system has already reduced it.
In any case that option is no more ...

Re: Customize Font Size and Window Layout
I definitely second this request (I was going to post about that). With hi-dpi displays at higher resolutions (which of course are very useful for working on images) fonts are way too small. I hoped that macOS Sonoma fixed this with a global settings, but I see it doesn't affect automatically ...

Re: Some menus not working with latest update (macOS)
I see also the menus "Country" and "Country code" in the "GEO tag" panel. At this point I'd dare to say that all drop down menus are involved.

Some menus not working with latest update (macOS)
Hello.
One month ago I upgraded to PSU 2024, no issues. After the latest update, some menus are no longer working. For instance:
* activating the filter and trying the "FILTER", "Label" or "Type" filter I see the submenu (e.g. in the case of "Type" in my case "All types", "All ARW", "All DNG ...

Re: Two problems with keywords after re-importing photos in a new catalog: #1, missing synonyms
Merging it's the first thing I tried, as I said in the first message.

Re: Two problems with keywords after re-importing photos in a new catalog: #1, missing synonyms
I tried dragging domain:Eukariota from under Vocabulary Taxonomy/[Taxonomy] to Taxonomy (the orange one). I just got a duplicated, as you can see.

"Zombie" keywords are not shown in the Categories section: I can only see the new counterparts.

Two problems with keywords after re-importing photos in a new catalog: #2, "zombie" favorite keywords
As mentioned in the forum, in December I re-imported all my photos in a clean catalog to fix a problem with thumbnails. I now see that in the "Favorite" keywords panel I have some "zombie" entries: that is, all the keywords I originally had now are present but not working. The contextual menu can be ...

Two problems with keywords after re-importing photos in a new catalog: #1, missing synonyms
As mentioned in the forum, in December I re-imported all my photos in a clean catalog to fix a problem with thumbnails. I've noted that unfortunately keyword synonyms haven't been imported, despite they are present in XMP files. Having kept the previous catalog, I exported the old "formatted ...

Re: THM not working
I didn't work on my photos until a few days ago. Exceptions mentioned in my previous message were related to a few THM files not being generated. So it seems that re-importing the photos has fixed the problem.
