Re: Error updating DB from V3 to V4

Hert could solve the problem. Thanks a lot.
Could you post the steps so that others who may have this issue can resolve it?

Thanks,

What Happened to Forums for Other IDI Products

Hi Hert, For a while now, when I open http://forum.idimager.com/index.php I get only Photo Supreme forum as shown in the attached screen shot. I used get forums for IDImager and the other products in a list below Photo Supreme. Am I missing something, or have you modified the forums? I am just curio...

Re: V4 Pricing

I just opened PSu and the megaphone showed 1 message. Sure enough, there was the notice for V4. However, in the lower left corner it says, "Just now". I do not recall seeing this notice before this morning. Glad to see it was there, though.

Re: V4 Pricing

I did not know about the new version until yesterday when I saw the posts here on the forum. On a hunch, I checked the spam folder in my ISP's e-mail web app, and sure enough, there was the newsletter, marked as spam. I moved to my in box and opened using Outlook 2010. I am glad I saw the notice in ...

Re: Monitoring a folder

I agree with Rau. Verifying all the folders under the root folder would take a very, very long time for a large collection. My suggestion to Simon would be to have a folder named, for example, "New-Images". The folks who store images on the NAS would upload to that folder, only, and then once every ...

Re: Unable to eject USB discs when Photo Supreme is running

I do not know if there is workaround. Just pull the plug / card? I have never bothered with 'safely' ejecting a drive or card and never had any problems... There have been instances of SD cards or USB drives being corrupted when the card or drive is removed without using 'Safely Remove Hardware' to...

Re: Unable to eject USB discs when Photo Supreme is running

I was able to verify the behavior you are seeing. I got the same message. External UBS drive, Win 10. My guess is that PSu expects that we will read or write to the drive during a PSu session, and/or PSu checks to see if data is being read or written. When I exit PSu, I am able to eject the drive. I...

Re: disk I/O error (0) (0)

Open Event Viewer and then look in Administrative Events. You should see errors when PS crashes. You could then send the error codes and related info to Hert via e-mail. Armed with this info, he may be able to help you track this down.

Re: disk I/O error (0) (0)

This does not sound like a RAID issue, but one to do with the computer itself, or the OS. Disk I/O errors could be caused by several different things... --Check the connection between the motherboard and the drive, and the power supply and the drive. --The drive, or your CPU, or your power supply co...

Re: move or copy via share with help

I guess for moving i have to use folders and drag my photo where I want to move You can easily move images from within PSu... Go to Folders View Open the folder containing the images you want to move Select the images you want to move. Ensure the destination folder is visible. Drag the images to th...

Re: tif display color issue

Larry, you can change the color profile for any image in Photo Shop (PS). With the image open in PS, go to Edit>Convert to Profile... In the resulting dialog, select the dropdown under Destination Space. For jpegs, select sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Save the image. This embeds that profile in the image. Impor...

Re: New User's Interface questions

As sandfhotgn suggested, it is best to import only a small set of images so that you can learn to work with PSu. Once you are comfortable, and purchase the application, then you can import your images. While it is true that PSu cannot combine databases (catalogs), you can create as many catalogs as ...
