Hi,

I make some tests for this problem.
The red point keep if we use Profils author but not if we use only keyword.
In all case, the picture are not syncronized with keyword.

i don't work with this problem !

My database is on a local drive.
My files are on external drive.

My catalogue was not corrupted the last time i ue it.

my last backup dates back a month, and I've made a lot of changes since then. We do not save each time a photo is added.

For 3 years I had to do at least 6 restorations of the base, that's a lot!! I like PSU but this software often crashes, it's annoying.

The files are on an external HDD. PSU find them without problem.
Ive test on another files and is the same behavior.

I've a new problem wit PSU :

impossible to syncronize "details", 'geo" and impossible write metadata in files.
(You can see the psu's message in attahcment)

I already do :
- rename the thumbs.db file
- Build missing thumbs and previews from the hamburger menu.

In your case, you are in a internal process.

I spoke about external process, when my picture are on my online photolibrary or another DAM.
When my client tell me a list of picture, we use the mane, not the path.

But what is the use case for scenario with only filename?
With photo library, witout full size picture download and some people tell you 80 pictures for exemple.
for 5 ou 10 its easy, but for 80 is long :)
In all cases where only the filename is common.

I've a big pobleme for me.
It's impossible to paste text from another source (textedit, web, ...).
It's very usefull for description.
But nothing.
From psu to another , it's ok, from psu to psu, ok too.

i come back after work with PSU.

I was very slow but only in Catergory Panel in Miscellaneous : 4900 item....
The other panel was ok.

So i've put 100 by 100 item in another category to dispatch them.

In généraly, PSU is not the fastest soft i use but it's work.
