Re: Copying Color Labels and Folder States
Did a test of the script on an empty database and it did what I expected, the whole catalogue structure was imported.

Re: Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
I tested the "Export Import Catalog Structure" script with an empty database and that does appear to import the geolocation data. Unfortunately, it also imports everything else. Even if I could restrict the import to just the Places labels as I have over 2000 geotagged locations in the catalog and I ...

Re: Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
Thanks for the ICS suggestion Robert, but that is precisely what I have done.
The problem is that the ICS schema does not appear to record a label's geolocation data. When you import the label into a new catalog the label hierarchy is created but the label has no geolocation data assigned to it.

Re: Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
The issue is not with writing to the image. It is with recreating a label from the image metadata duing the import process. The label is created but without any geolocation data assigned.

Re: Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
I checked out the repository but didn't find anything that looked like it would address my issue.
To me the logical solution would be to extend the ICS schema to include any geolocation data assigned to any label. This would include labels other than place name labels, as any label can have ...

Re: Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
I am writing metadata to the images. As far as I can work out when you assign GEO data to a place label and then assign the label to an image that does not have gps data assigned the label gets written to the file as a keyword and the GEO data linked to the label is used to update the image gps data ...

Transferring Places labels with GEO Location data
I wish to transfer Places labels, along with their associated GEO Location data, from one catalog to another. Is there a way to do this?
I have tried importing images but the labels are created without their GEO data.
I have tried exporting the Places as a formatted vocabulary, but the export does ...

Error running "Export Import Preference" script
I downloaded the "Export Import Preference" script from the resource repository but I get the following error when I try to import the preference into the catalog that I just exported it from. I am running PS 2025.1.1.7522

Re: Copying Color Labels and Folder States
Thanks for the suggestion, Geoff.
I did consider that script, but thought it did an export and import of the whole catalog. I will try it out on a test database to see how it works.

Copying Color Labels and Folder States
I am in the process of restructuring my file system by merging two disks onto one disk and then creating a new merged catalog. The file system merge consisted of adding individual "year" folders under one root folder. I created the merged catalog by importing the new file structure using the "Import ...

Re: Secondary monitor issue
Hi wesstl,
Thanks for testing it on a Mac and the feedback.
Hopefully I don't need to buy a Mac to fix the issue!
It would be good if another Windows user gave it a try.
Regards,
Roman

Re: Issue with long catalog label display
Thanks again, it is good when you can reap the benefits of someone else's hard work
I will give the scripts a go, though understanding their syntax is worse than coming to grips with scientific notation.

Re: Secondary monitor issue
Thanks for the suggestion Robert.
I installed the nVidia Studio drivers, but it did not resolve the issue.
Do you use two monitors? If so, can you please confirm that the following sequence works for you:
1. Select the floating viewer option
2. Display an image in the viewer
