Re: Photo Supreme crashes more than any other program?
I have a similar experience to John. I keep the software up to date and have had various hardware platforms over the years but experience "Not Responding" regularly. I can't usually reproduce the problem as whatever action I was doing works after terminating the PS task and restarting it. The only ...

Switching to an external catalog
When switching catalogs the catalog files located in the user's Appdata directory appear in a drop-down list. This makes switching catalogs simple. In order to free up disk apace I have migrated a large number of images, along with the relevant catalog files, to an external drive. This appears to ...

Script to output all catalog labels to a text file
Has anyone developed a script to output all catalog labels to a text file so that you can use a text file comparison utility to identify differences in the catalog structure between two PS instances?

Image selected on mouseover
I upgraded to 4936 today and since then I have experienced images sometimes being selected on mouseover in folder view. I haven't worked out what sequence of actions triggers this but it appears to be cleared by switching to another folder and then back again. Is it just me, or has anyone else had ...

Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor
Thank you for your quick fix Hert. I just installed 4898 and now the viewer is not closed when navigating between different folders. I just hope that you don't get complaints from users that don't like this behaviour.

Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor
I also find this annoying. To my mind the viewer should display the last selected image until another image is selected and not close when you select a different folder. Ideally it would be good if the behaviour was configurable.

Re: List labels with "Overwrite pre-existing GEO location info" checked
I might be missing something here but to correct the errors would you not simply go to the details of the label whose location is the one you want, "copy coordinates to clipboard", open geo panel, select the images you want to change, and in geo panel "paste coordinates from clipboard"?
Thank ...

Re: List labels with "Overwrite pre-existing GEO location info" checked
Thank you Hert, the script is exactly what I wanted.
I was surprised how many of my Place labels had the "Overwrite pre-existing GEO location info" option checked. I think that this is probably due to my workflow. My cameras do not have inbuilt GPS so almost all my Place labels have GPS co ...

Re: GEO Location Error
Adding the "User Agent" registry setting as described appears to have resolved the issue for me too but geolocation lookups sometimes take a long time and browsing outside of PSU sometimes appears to be much slower.

Re: GEO Location Error
I upgraded to v4640 yesterday but the geolocation module appeared to be working to a large extent. However I did notice the map was sometimes blank and remained on top of dialogue boxes.
As Hert suggested I tried reinstalling PSU as admin but it did not resolve the issue.

GEO Location Error
Don't know if it is at my end or Google's but something has changed. I get this error when I try to use the geolocation module.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
P.S. I am not too sure how to insert an image into a post, hopefully the link I have used will work.
