Hi,
same problem here. But it seems not to be an v4 problem in general. It is an new issue.
In May (I don't know which v4 it was) the DNG handler worked well. Know with 4.1.0.1526 I get the same access violation error (Win7 64 bit, CR v. 10.3.0.933)

Re: Error updating DB from V3 to V4
Hi Michael,
yes, I have a backup. I restored db and thumb db, compacted both.
Migration to v4 delivered the same error message.
Same procedure again, but i rename the thumb-db to "..._old" to exclude it from migartion...
Same error message...
I can't open the migrated db with V3 anymore. So it ...

Error updating DB from V3 to V4
Hi there,
after installing v4 in another path than v3, PSU asked to update the db. I agreed and now I have got the error message: (in German)
"Connection to db not possible" "no such view: V_CatalogPeriods.
What should I do? "Ignore and risk data corruption"? ... DB update stopped after clicking ...

Re: Removing LR Development metadata
I'm 95% sure that with an older version of PSU (about 9-10 months ago) I could not recognize these problems.
When I was working with NEF instead of DNG 2 years ago, I worked the way you describe. I exported a jpeg from LR and switched this xxxx_edit.jpeg to "main version". But even switching for a ...

I guess you are an exception: most people would prefer if PSu could do a better job rendering adjustments from external editors
I'm one of "most people". For the last nine months the DNG Viewer in PSU is terrible.

Re: Sizing problem with DNG in image viewer
Info in mantis: "This will be fixed again in the next update. As you can see in the whatsnew.idimager.com a DNG change was made to better support native DNGs from Leica cams. Unfortunately that addition broke this one"
I hope we will get it soon....

Re: Sizing problem with DNG in image viewer
Hmmm, I'm using the light table function very often. I guess that won't work with an external viewer.
Is a "down-date" of PSU possible? Is there any place to get the old version? unfortunately I do not have a backup.

Hi Hert,
Is there hope for a short-term Bugfix?
Currently I can't use PSU.

Sizing problem with DNG in image viewer
Hi,
it seems to be a new problem since the last update.
Opening 24 MPixel DNGs in the image viewer (Z: 100%) and (A: Zoom to best fit) don't zoom to the expected size (monitor filling and more). When I open the JPEG created with the Camera the same time, it is zoomed as expected.
Any ideas or is ...

Re: Export Portfollios, collections to lightroom
I do not have so much experience in writing PSU macros.
Would it be "easy" to write a macro, that synchronizes the "job id" with the portfolio name
(and best case: is triggered when a pictures is added/removed from a portfolio)?
I guess the "best case" would not be possible without Hert's ...

Re: Export Portfollios, collections to lightroom
Hi Mike,
I'm usually working with DNG. The size/quality of the JPEG-export (by LR) depends of the portofolio (sub-portfolio).
"selection" - small
"best of" (a sub portfolio of "selection") - max. size
