Re: An abundance of issues…
Problem solved by Build 7404. Emails back and forth with Hert regarding the crashes over the past few days helped identify the problem, and the latest build addressed the issue(s). Thanks to Hert for his responsiveness!

Re: what does colored line under thumbnail represent
The colored lines represent images that are part of stacks. Each stack is given a different color (as far as I know, this is done more or less randomly by PS) so that the different stacks can be identified by those colors. If you look above the thumbnails, you'll find a little "stack" icon. If you ...

An abundance of issues…
I’m having an abundance of problems while testing the v2025 version. My PS catalog runs fine under v2024, on an M2 Mac Studio (with 64GB of memory). I downloaded the v2025 trial version and installed it on an M1 MacBook Air (16 GB RAM) running Ventura 13.7.2. I also downloaded the Ollama app and the ...

Re: Rogue Keywords are added from IPTC Data
G8DHE - I tried to delete IPTC data inside of PS, but never got this to work. I suspect (but can’t say for certain) that this only affects the metadata that PS writes to the catalog, but not the data embedded in the original files themselves. Thus, trying to clear an IPTC field works for the ...

Re: Rogue Keywords are added from IPTC Data
Any geotagging I do is done from .gpx files, and I don’t ever geotag using the geolocate lookups.
However, irrespective of how they got there the IPTC data seems to be causing extra (unwanted) keywords to get created and applied. What I want to know is either (i) how do I delete data from IPTC ...

Rogue Keywords are added from IPTC Data
I am finding "rogue" keywords showing up in my photos. For the most part, this occurs after I Verify a folder or otherwise rebuild a folder's contents.
I have keywords for Places that include the city and state (within the US) and sometimes the actual location within a city. But they never include ...

Re: Continuing the thumbnail building for 1 files
You're the best! There are so many little touches hidden inside of Photo Supreme, and I never knew this sub-menu was there! I found the file and took care of the issue, all in the space of a couple of minutes. Easy peasy. Thank you, Hert.

"Continuing the thumbnail building for 1 files"
This message comes up every single time I open Photo Supreme (v2024.2.2.6689 on a Mac Studio with M2 Max, 64 GB RAM, MacOS Ventura 13.7.1). Because it is a single file I do not know which thumbnail it is attempting to rebuild (the message appears and ...

Re: On1 Photo Raw
For better or worse, PSu does not automatically update its database when there are file changes in the folder being referenced. That includes files added, deleted or edited. As far as I know, the only way to have PSu reflect the edited status of your folder’s file(s) is to choose “Verify Folder…” in ...

Changing Account Email
I need to change the email address used by my idImager/Photo Supreme account (not for the forum, but for the software - that is, the email used to access my "User Control Panel"). I know how to change the Password, but this is not something I need to do. How do I change the email listed on the ...

Re: Metadata Missing for afphoto Files
The metadata display for Affinity Photo files remains an issue for me. As I said before (above), my Affinity files are generally part of a Version Set that also includes a raw file and a JPG file (with the JPG being the main version). I can identify all of these version sets with a filter, but ...

Re: Metadata Missing for afphoto Files
I can't get this to work, Hert. I generally have raw, afphoto, and jpg files catalogued for each of my photos. On disk, they are stored in separate folders, but in PS they are versioned. Both the JPG and the raw files have all the appropriate EXIF data showing up in the grid, but the Affinity Photo ...

Absolutely! Over the years, this has always worried me a bit (although, like the OP, I have never encountered a problem with the updates).
