Re: flashing metadata
All the images with flashing metadata show a date on the time line as 1899. They also all show as out of sync. I cannot find 1899 in any metadata fields and no matter what I do, they stay out of sync. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this!

flashing metadata
Recently it is not uncommon for one or more files in a folder to have the metadata below the thumbnail flashing. Any idea what would cause that or how I can correct it?

Re: Files/folders missing from folder view
I'm all set now. I unchecked "make this the top-level folder" and made the root of the drive the top level. Then 2 copies on the "Photos-D" folders showed up under the root, one with 1267 images and one with over 22,000. When I unchecked "make this top level" and then re-checked it at the root level ...

Re: Files/folders missing from folder view
I checked and "make this the top-level folder" was already checked. Any other ideas?

Files/folders missing from folder view
When I opened PSU today I noticed that all the folders on an external drive only show a small portion of the files in those folders. The files are physically there and they show in the timeline and all other views. I tried Verify Folder at the top level and it found many files but they still don't ...

Re: New update: 6.3.0.3755
Since the update I get an exception every time I change to a different date in the timeline, or to a different folder, portfolio, etc. Any idea what would cause that? I did send the exception reports
Can you download and install build 3758 from the website (there's no web update). Does that ...

Re: PSU created folders in catalog when I told it to ignore
Never mind. I assumed that "ignore this folder" meant that PSU would ignore it and not add it to the tree structure. But it does add it and then marks it as an ignored folder. It would be nice if there was a way to hide ignored folders but that's just me.

PSU created folders in catalog when I told it to ignore
I just used the "verify folder Quick" function on a folder that has several sub-folders that another photo editor uses. These folders do not contain images so I marked those folders to "ignore this folder" in the verify results. However, PSU added all those folders to the catalog. Why would that be?

Loving Photo Supreme!
I was an Idimager user about 10 years ago, having used version 3, 4, and 5 after using iMatch for a while. I absolutely loved IDI. But when Idimager became Photo Supreme, much of what I loved was gone. Although I missed the power of IDI and Hert’s great support, when Lightroom went on sale, I bought ...

Re: confused about search bar
Well, now I feel pretty stupid. No, don't ever assume that I am doing anything correctly :). I was using the search bar on the upper left. I don't know why I didn't see the actual search bar on the upper right. I guess that once I saw a magnifying glass icon on the lest my focus just went there. It ...

confused about search bar
I have been mostly using the catalog tree or dynamic searches to locate images. I just tried to use the search bar. The Quick Manual - Searching states "enter a search term and press enter. That’s it; nothing more to it." If I type a catalog label, suggestions pop up and I can click on them to ...
