Re: PS3.3 2606 Google Maps problems

Well, the about dialog shows 2606. I updated from within the program. Maybe I'll try downloading the file manually.

Re: PS3.3 2606 Google Maps problems

I'm on Win10, fall creator's update. Here is the message box I receive when I access the GPS panel: --------------------------- Message from webpage --------------------------- {"description":"The Google Maps API does not support this browser.","message":"The Google Maps API does not support this br...

Label Relationships?

Is there any documentation on label relationships? I looked in the cataloguing pdf, but didn't see anything. Specifically, is there a way to easily assign a label's relationships when assigning the label? (So if Civic is related to "my car", when I assign Civic, can I also have "my car" assigned at ...

PS3.3 2606 Google Maps problems

Ever since upgrading to 2606 I have not been able to do anything with Google Maps. Just a white screen with an error box. Previously, I was able to navigate and choose coordinates, even if there was a warning about an out-of-date browser. Is anyone else noticing this, or do I need to dig deeper into...

Re: Portfolios + collections

I too have been having a lot of cases where changing portfolios triggers a mass re-synch. I, however, do have ICS written to metadata so changing portfolios makes sense to me. What does not make sense to me are when re-synchs are triggered: 1. on all photos already in a portfolio when I import new p...

Re: Error: Not a writeable directory

I tried installing a clean copy of Win10 (creators edition). I still get this error message. Is there some path in my profile/settings that I could clear? I noticed that a new profile worked fine, but I dont want to lose my settings.

Re: Error: Not a writeable directory

I just noticed tonight that the directory I keep my databases in is marked with an "R", though none of the files (including the sqlite datbases) is marked with an R. I've tried making the directory non-read-only but have not succeeded (right-click properties). I even added read-only and then removed...

Does PSU use the archive file attribute to help determine if a file has been changed?

Re: Error: Not a writeable directory

Interesting. I checked my environment variables and C:\Windows\Temp is my temp folder. My C drive has 16GB free, and the temp folder does not have read only access set (and I deleted several files from it). I have not upgraded my harddisk recently... Thinking back, I believe this started around the ...

Re: Which date is which?

Yeah, jstartin's reply makes some sense... my biggest problem is how to fix the files so I dont have to manually set the dates on every file!

Re: Which date is which?

So my import filename settings are: yyyymmdd-%FileName And when I do this on 2017-01-27 for a photo taken on 2016-12-05 I get a filename like this: 20161205-IMG_0290.jpg But when I look at the photo date in PSU (%yyyy-%mm-%dd on the custom thumbnail, or by opening the re-date dialog), I see 2017-01-...

Re: Which date is which?

Yes, the date in the modify date dialog is the picture's PSU-recognized date/time.

So yeah, I guess what I'm saying is that the date recognized by PSU "after" import is different than the date recognized "during" import.
