Re: Flickr authorization does not work

Hert, I just checked. Authorization went fine and uploading worked as well.

Thanks for solving this issue.

Flickr authorization does not work (Hert solved it!)

I am trying to authorize Photo Supreme for uploading to Flickr. When I follow the process I get to the homepage of Flickr instead of in the authorization process. Anybody experiences the same or has a workaround? It could be this issue I found on the Flickr forum regarding Photo Mechanic: It seems P...

Re: Beta 3.3 version

Anyone running the stand alone 3.3 beta should upgrade to build 2425 asap. Also, restart with your data from the official version. This only applies to the users of the stand alone version. Hert, How do I restart from the official version? Can I restore the backup from the official version into 3.3...

Feature Request

I really like the way you can (easy) pick which area's (items) will be colored or B&W. I started thinking having this in place it can't be that difficult to give the option to clear the B&W area's and so more or less cut out your subject from the picture. Hert, am I right and is this an idea to make...

Re: How do you display your pictures?

That sounds great. Do you keep all of your photos on the server and your PSU catalog on your workstation? I use a share on my NAS where I store all my original pictures (often RAW) and my developed JPG pictures. I use PSU to publish selections to folders in the Phote share on the NAS. The NAS autom...

Re: How do you display your pictures?

For general publishing on the web I use Flickr. For sharing with family and friends I use Synology Photostation, a native app running on Synology NAS servers. The advantages: - easy and automaticly creating of albums - standard views as album, in timelines or on map - flexible creation of categories...

Re: Unexpected import behaviour

Hmm, did not change the drives, nor the NAS, although I sometimes remove and restore the networkdrive (logically), still sometimes PS makes it a different drive and I have the same issue with JRiver Media Center which does the same thing. What puzzles me is that one time the logical name is being us...

Re: Unexpected import behaviour

Hert, Found the issue. My pictures are on a mapped network drive. Most of the time PSU sees this drive with the logical name (DISKSTATION) and from the importer now it sees the drive with the IP address and therefore creating two "different" entries in the database. Any suggestions how to prevent th...

Unexpected import behaviour

Since a few weeks when I import pictures with the import wizard, pictures are stored in the database, however are not being added to the folder structure. So when I want to do versioning pictures are not being seen. When I do a verify of the folder pictures are again being added to the database so t...

Re: How do you work with metadata between versions?

Cascading over a version set allows you to cascade the full metadata (technical info excluded) to all images in the version set. Find the Cascade feature in the Version Flyout menu Hope that helps Hert, I found this function however can you do this for several pictures in one go? I did not find thi...

Re: show album version by default

Hi Frank, You can automaticly detect and assign version although in a bit limited way. ( In the context menu) Workaround for selecting a version: make your version placeholders favourites. Select the category you want to see and put it into the dynamic search field together with the placeholder and ...
