Re: How to select and import only rated images?

Frank, I don't see any value in seeing XMP in the Import Module. That will slow down the Import Module A LOT because typically people will import images from a memory card and those images don't have XMP at all, meaning XMP has to be created in memory only (as they might not be imported so may not ...

How to select and import only rated images?

When I go to the advanced options of the importer, select the location I'm looking to import from, a list of all the files in the folder are displayed.

If I right click on images there is a context menu that comes up that says find more with ratings of 0. Despite there being files in the folder ...

Re: I actually like this program...

I've just begun using Photo Supreme. I had V5 before. I'm having trouble putting labels into the favorites section. I'm sure it's easy, but I can't figure it out. What is the way? thanks.

Sorry for the delay in response PhotoBob. You may have already figured this out but in case you didn't, it is ...

Re: assign new label with path

I'm just discouraging the use of delimited keywords in general.

Hert

Once you switch to LR keywords, how do you make sure all of your pictures are now set up with them? When I was on IDI and early with PS I think I used the deliminated ones. I want to make sure all of the images have the LR ...

Re: Where is the register option?

That is what I get for not reading the email's instructions carefully enough. Guess I was too excited to start using it again.

Thanks for the help weidmic!

Where is the register option?

I downloaded the 64 bit version after purchasing my license but don't have any option to enter my code. It stays in Trial mode. Where is the option or how do I get it to pop up?

Thanks.

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

So Hert, is the tree view something you will be adding to PS? If so, any idea of when it will be available?

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

It looks like the tree request is important to a number of people. I'm certainly not against having one...especially after hearing all the ways it is useful. Should it be implemented, I would just like it to be easy to use. I can't say enough about how much I love the simplicity of using this ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Wow, thank you Jim! What you say makes a lot of sense to me. Are others interested in the type of labeling ability that Jim describes?

Re: I actually like this program...

I actually like it more and more.
Me too! With the new favorites section, I'm able to label much more efficiently. I don't want to say it is addictive to label things, but I do find myself labeling 'just one more' because it is so simple to use. PS is a huge step forward in the ease of use ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Thanks for the quality feedback, Jim. I didn't know that anyone actually disliked that. Maybe it was very unpopular and is the reason it was removed. I have no idea. You make a good point about different ways to do the same thing possibly leading to wider user acceptance, I hadn't thought of it that ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

"Maybe", a "by number of assigned labels" sort order for the collection viewer would be useful?

I could see that being helpful. I think once you are able to use a favorites section, the need for the recently used ones will become less important.

It would be greatly beneficial if the recently ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

You're not missing anything; it's in the next update; it's built based on your request from earlier today.

Hert

Wow...that is highly impressive, thank you Hert!

Based on that and the upcoming Drag Select fix, it looks like we are all going to enjoy the same stellar support for PS that we've ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

How would Favorite Labels work different than just creating a New Label Set called "Favorites"?

Yes, you can easily create a label set named "Favorites" to cover that part.
The way I've implemented it is that the labels from the Favorites (stared in the Catalog Explorer) are also available in ...
