Which license do I need to buy?

I used Idimager a few years ago but got out of the routine of cataloguing my photos which I mainly blame on the use of the camera phone and photos auto-uploading to the cloud. Anyway I want to revive my old workflow of cataloguing all photos and have been looking at purchasing Photo Supreme.

My ...

Re: Batch Time adjustment

Thanks for informing me of the Ctrl-SHift-D shortcut. I didn't appreciated what 'shift dates' did.

I am finding it very unpredictable in its behaviour but that could be down to the user.
If I select a group of photos in a folder and choose the Re-Date function / shift dates option, some of the ...

Batch Time adjustment

Is there a way to adjust the 'Date time original', 'Date Time Digitized' and 'Date Content Created' for a large group of photos?
I have a set of photos from a different camera where the clock was different.
I am now trying to combine these photos with another set taken from another camera with a ...

Adding Catalog Category items

I am viewing all photos in the catalog that have been assigned to a category "People - unassigned"

I now want to assign a number of different people categories to the photo. Some of these people do not currently exist in my catalog list down the left hand side so I need to ctreat them on the fly ...

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

Hert, you're a hero!!

It has worked on a small directory of photos and so I am now importing my whole collection across. It looks like some of the catalog categories may need some tidying up but that is about it.

So for future, do not work with the database across the home network! Would the ...

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

Running the backup and a message is popping up - Integrity check of your catalog database failed. Clicking 'OK' to try again.

It appears to have created a copy of idimager.thumbs.db but not the idimager.cat.db. It is also now showing a message - "Verification of the backup files failed. Please try ...

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

I always went back to the desktop at the end of each evening and ~sync'ed all out-of-sync images" and in preferences it is set to automatically write out catalog changes to the image file. Is this what you meant?

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

Hi Hert, I am only using the desktop to try to resolve the problem.

Okay, I have just compacted the catalog database (this is very quick, less than a second) on the desktop and appears to be succesful

Restart PSU - Error message "database disk image is malformed (0)" is now not popping up at start ...

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

Left it compacting overnight with a message in the morning saying it had been succesful.

On starting up Photo Supreme I still get an initial pop-up box stating "database disk image is malformed (0) (0)"

Clicking "OK" and the program fires up.

The one star rating down the left hand side still says ...

Re: database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

Thanks for your fast responce Hert.

Things are not looking good at the moment. I compacted the Catalog database succesfully and then tried to compact the Thumbnail database and the software has now sat there for over half an hour 'Not responding'. Is it safe to kill the process?

database disk image is malformed (0) (0)

First of all I'll explain how I access by photos through Photo Supreme in case this is the cause of the problem. I have my photos, Photo Supreme and database files on my desktop PC upstairs. Over the last two weeks I have started to categorize these photos and have managed to get through 6000 of the ...
