V6 was blueish, following the color schema in Big Sur

Re: V6 Update database update; how long?
No, it is the latest V5 version.Hert wrote: 16 Feb 21 14:23 The database upgrade from the latest V5 to the latest V6 version is fairly small and should not take longer than 5 minutes (more like 5 seconds). If you come from an early V5 version or even an older PSU main version then upgrading can take a while to complete.

* PSU V3 installation - a few thoughts
Hi,
today I installed PSU V3 on my laptop to test it before I buy it. I used PSU V2 since half a year (or so) and didnt want to destroy my working installation with a program in demo mode, therefore I was very carefull - and it was good to be carefully.

Re: idimager.thumbs.db - 40 GB size?
In the meantime I tested a migration of my IDI5 DB on desktop (a copy of course). It was pretty fast, about one and a half hour. The size of the file idimager.thumbs.db is not affected by the migration, it remained the same. I'll how it works.
Thanks for all the help ! That is great

Re: idimager.thumbs.db - 40 GB size?
After reducing the size of the previews and then rebuilding the thumbs/previews then don't forget to compact the database

Re: idimager.thumbs.db - 40 GB size?
I'm just testing it on my laptop, both IDI and PSU thumb size set to 640 px. Unfortunatly the process is still running, despite only having 1/10 of my photos on the laptop. I'll report the file size.
The 40 GB on my desktop is with a thumb size of 1680 !

Re: idimager.thumbs.db - 40 GB size?
Thanks for your quick answer. I moved the DB already sucessfully. Next step is to find the switch to reduce the thumbnail size. I hope I can reduce it without reimporting all
