Re: :-) Interesting AI hallucination ;-)
Now that I'm finally able to use the AI via llama, I'm wondering if the effort was worth the result. If it can't learn from my images then it is not really very useful to label my images. And adding so many pedantic labels does nothing to enable me to filter my images.

Re: something broke [resolved]
After running overnight, the app finally appeared. Subsequent shutdowns and restarts are faster but there is still a 3-4 sec delay before the main screen appears with nothing to show that something will happen.
Also found the desktop icon, hiding in plain sight in one corner among other icons.

something broke
It was about time I created a backup after settling into the current version, 2025, and all synching was completed.
After almost 6 hrs, it had not finished but the status bar had stopped moving.
The application was not responding so Task Manager was called in to end it all.

Ollama error
Now that 2025.1.0.7494 has been installed and the database has been updated, I tried the new AI using Ollama with Gemma3. When I try it on a few random images, I keep getting "Ollama error (response code=500). What does that mean and how do I resolve it?

Re: geotagging from a GPX file
I could set my camera to GMT since that is what the GPS tracker uses but then I would have to constantly convert to local time to sync with local events.
Still have to give this idea a deeper think

Re: geotagging from a GPX file
OOPS, I seem to have skipped a step in my previous tests, didn't press the GPX point before pressing Apply. Since there was a sort of Activity in the lower left, I didn't see that I was missing something.
Now to start tagging.

Re: geotagging from a GPX file
Doesn't seem to work on my system.
I can load the GPX track. Set the time to be in the image range. Select one or multiple images and click on the Apply button at the bottom of the GEO tag panel. The activity bar at the bottom left of the screen pops up momentarily. No GPS coordinates are added to ...

geotagging from a GPX file
With my Canon R6 and Gaia GPS I went for a walk taking pictures, both RAW and JPG, while recording my path.
Exported a GPX file and in the GEO tag panel, I tried to tag the pictures.
The activity bar on the lower left jumps up momentarily but no GPS coordinates are written to the pictures, neither ...

Re: catalog people label thumbnails
I had overlooked the many things that Share can do, will have to give it a closer look.
On a related topic, I noticed the just because an image has been assigned to an area, it is not confirmed until I expressly do that extra step.
1 can multiple images be confirmed at the same time?

Re: catalog people label thumbnails
When I look in the People section of the Catalog tab, just to the left of each name is a small thumbnail. In the Details of each name, the specific thumbnail to be displayed can be selected.
What I would like to produce and print is a list of the names with their associated thumbnail.
Then when I ...

catalog people label thumbnails
Now that I have identified and confirmed quite a few people in many images, is there a way to export a list of people with their associated image as well as a list of the pictures where they are found?

Re: sporadic unresponsive issues
The images are on a networked TerraStation. During a PSu session, there should be enough activity to keep it awake.
The virus scanner has been told to ignore both the PSu app folder, the catalog folder, both on internal drives, as well as the external image drive.
Up to 30 seconds? hmmm, OK I ...
