Re: Printing single postcard size

Many thanks. I got the size, but I thought the command was an option between printing one 6x4 inch or six 3x2 inch. OK now.

Printing single postcard size

I have never tried to print from PSu.

Now I want to print individual images in postcard format, but the options do not appear to allow 15cm wide by 10cm high. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Re: LR exported jpg missing metadata

Larry, thanks also for the tip about C1-10. Another poster had problems too and I have not had time to pre-investigate, besides I'm still using version 9, besides the changes in the user interface always take time to learn. I'm told though that the processing under v. 10 is better.

Re: Catalog Label

The reason is that the tiny settings in the labels are slightly different between each ‘apparently’ duplicate entry, so they are not in fact exact duplicates. Right click on any label and look at Label Details. This frequently happens when you start using PSu (with me also), and sometimes later too....

Re: LR exported jpg missing metadata

Larry, I'm sorry to hear that LR treats the maker notes as C1 does, i.e. eats them :-( C1 does however now keep all meta data listed in the PSu panel named Technical, at least in version 9. However, around 30-40 other fields (with my camera brand) from the maker notes are not recorded. I hope you fi...

Re: Sharing by email - caption line

Latest update from Mantis: “Captions are not the same as watermarks. A caption is a text that you can add to the image. A watermark is a graphic you can add to the image. Captions are drawn on the image. I understand that this feature request is for a caption below the image. That means a change to ...

Re: where are the label sets stored on windows?

is there a location path to where the label sets are stored and or can photo supreme create such a thing so its easy to work on multiple computers with a setting that can enable users to share and use the same label sets ? You might want to give some thought about how you will manage to keep two or...

Re: Fast Picture Viewer Pro for fast cull before import into PSu?

Sorry, still off topic, but the thread is mutating... I think Krogh does mention PSu in his book and believe that is how I got here. My memory might not be correct. However, I have written to him begging that his future works are not too Lightroom-centric. Perhaps others might like to do the same, e...

After opening PSu and clicking help, you will find a list of available documentation. That is all there is, although this forum is a very valuable source of information and helpful users

Larry, I have found those situations too and concur that although not perfect, it's still acceptable, especially if one is aware of it.

"And (are you sick of me yet) how do I paste a screen shot?"

When you paste a reply there is a tab named attachments. There you can upload a file to post in-line.

Re: Label / keyword hierarchy

Thanks Tom, No problem, but I think I have covered all 'obvious' bases and sanphotgn has verified this. I have also added a new child label as a test, but the problem is replicated. Furthermore, I have added the same keyword to an image which has not left PSu and the result is identical. I see no re...

Re: Label / keyword hierarchy

Thanks. "Do you have them configured to "cascade"? If I remember correctly, cascading is a term used when images are grouped in version sets (I always called them stacks). I don't use version sets and cannot find the term cascading in the program settings (properties) section. Here is another screen...

Re: Label / keyword hierarchy

Thanks, sanphotgn, Pictures often speak loader than words, so here are my settings. Please note that World Cuisines is set to add a keyword in the event that I might want to select World Cuisines individually. However, it's child, Latin American food, should not be assigning its parent and is thus s...

Re: Label / keyword hierarchy

Yes, this has been around for some time, but I sometimes only notice these abnormalities when I need to use a particular image. It could also be a case of "as this is not urgent I will solve it later", which tends to occur frequently with me ;-) There have been several other examples recently which ...
