31.5" 4096x2160 and 12.3" 2880x1920. Bigger has full 10bit and dci-3 colorspace, smaller has full srgb.
But if poll is about support for higher resolution, then imho DPI is more relevant. 4K screen at >40" isn't that bad, but for 12-13" laptop fullhd resolution has quite high dpi and scaling ...

Re: PSU and Capture One?
I disagree. Some years ago, my new 15" MacBook Pro produced the tiny 4 point fonts, not the other way around! I exchanged it for the older non-Retina version. However, I don't use a laptop for editing because it cannot be calibrated properly, so editing is done back at base when connect with the ...

Re: PSU and Capture One?
I personally don't see the point of HiDPI displays, but that is my opinion. Many of these display cannot be calibrated accurately and that is important for me as a photographer. I returned my Mac 'retina' display, as Apple got it all wrong. Primarily, the menu fonts became reduced to 4 point or ...

Re: PSU and Capture One?
Idimager does not release roadmaps or speculate about features. That feature request has been open for 1.5 years, so my opinnion about implementation timeline is "never" and i am migrating away.RobiWan wrote: 04 Nov 17 9:48 Does PSU don't support hidpi Displays? Re: PSU and Capture One?
I used to do following:
- Import in PSU. Culling.
- Open C1 from PSU (using single session)
- Prosess photos, delete few more photos.
- Export main version jpg.
- Verify folder in PSU. Despite rules version stacking is allways hit and miss. So i create versions, select jpg:s and set those as main ...

Re: Pre-sale question
Last update (if not counting small bugfixes) was year ago. As roadmap is not communicated software is now in low maintanance mode or new major version is coming. First one would be reason to leap out, later to hang on.
PSu (as with many manufactures, look at Nikon, Canon, Sony) do not ...

Re: Pre-sale question
Well when i did compare photo supreme vs daminion, supreme was better. But then supreme was at version 2 and daminion has progressed a lot after that.
Now i am trying to figure out reason to still use photo supreme. Last update (if not counting small bugfixes) was year ago. As roadmap is not ...

Re: PSU Full Screen Image not Sharp on 4K Monitor
PSU doesn't support high dpi displays. So it's either blurry text and photos (due windows just enlarges the application) or disable windows brute force scaling and you get sharp photos with extremely tiny ui and text.

Re: QUESTION: what is your nr1 reason to use Photo Supreme
Importing and keywording, i haven't found a better tool yet. Well for import equals can be found, but not for keywording. However i no longer use photo supreme for culling or viewing the photos. With 4K screen everything is either blurry (forced scaling) or tiny.

Re: Automatic versioning according to filename rules
Haa, found it. Thanks. That makes things indeed a bit easier. I think that i am able to automate most of things with batch feature.
Still for old items it's either of deleting old files manually and running batches again, or going to manual work. So script or ability to give rules for automatic ...

Re: Automatic versioning according to filename rules
Hmm. That would be one way, but my main versions are in usually in adobergb or in pro photo color space. They need to be converted to srgb before uploading to net. I have made batch scripts for that allready. And i do run few files through nik output sharpen. So supreme is bit ruled out. Getting ...

Automatic versioning according to filename rules
I assume that script could do it, but is there some easier way?
I usually import raw files, then they are prosessed (jpg or tiff). Then another set of jpgs are made, depening of use and difference is in the file name.

The software is licensed on a personal base meaning that it doesn't matter how many computers you install it on, you as a licensed user can use it on any of them.
