Re: Dual monitor support?

Morning, I use my TV as second monitor as specified by General Settings, works very well. On my laptop I see all the thumbs and on the TV I show to people the photo we want to talk about. I bring my Laptop along when visiting relatives and all I need to do is connect any TV using my HDMI cable. This...

Re: PC Issues and PSU craches

Thanks to valid comments, I placed my old catalog and thumbs file in the correct folder and it works fine. Have now been able to use PSU some days and have done a lot of checking and all looks good. Will now go on and import a pile of images from latest months. I will also do some Adjust and try som...

PC Issues and PSU craches

Morning, For some months I have had issues with my PC. Since I had a rather old one (running Windows 7) I bought a new one (running Windows 10) I can still start my old PC and access all the files. This means all images, my PSU catalog and PSU thumbs database are available from Windows. But I can no...

Re: Trouble logging into Smugmug

Morning, I have an existing SmugMug profile in PSU and it works all right. Just tried it and could upload 11 photos But when I tried to create a new test profile (to SmugMug) I failed. I passed the Authenticate and then clicked on Target Location. All I then get is a message saying "No album" Regard...

Re: Future of Photo Supreme

Hello Martin, I used IDI for many years and am a long-time user of PSU. In addition to its rich menu of functions I also like the way it supports users and environment. If there comes a day when I need to move away from PSU I am confident that I can do so without too much problems. I believe Hert ha...

Re: Database disk image is malformed

Frank, I tried the simple way and replaced the corrupt Cat database with the last backup and it seems as if it did the trick. Now I am able to do the actions I couldn't do earlier ... and no database error message at all. I will now do a Scan for Missing Folders and then a Verify of the same area. I...

Re: Database disk image is malformed

Thanks Frank, I agree and will do a Restore unless someone has a better suggestion. But Restore is unfamiliar teritory for me, have never done one. The situation is as follows: > Latest Cat backup is from Oct 27 > Latest Thumb backup is from earlier today When I do a Backup I am asked if I want to d...

SQLite Database disk image is malformed

Morning, Since yesterday I am having problem with my Catalog. Almost all catalog actions gives me the message "database disk image is malformed (0)" I did a "compact current catalog" which stopped after about 25 seconds with the above message. Usually takes some minutes. Then I did compact of Thumbn...

Re: Light Table on Second Monitor?

Morning, just want to tell you how this ended. I learnt from Hert that starting LT on a second monitor isn't possible. This is anyway important to me so I raised an Enhancement Request in Mantis ... this one ... http://mantis.idimager.com/view.php?id=3136 If anyone of you also is interested in such ...

Light Table on Second Monitor?

Morning, I use PSU almost every day. And now and then show images to people on a nearby TV, using "Viewer on Second Monitor". All this works splendid, no problems. But I want to do an additional thing and can not figure out if this is possible or not. Quite often I need to show two or more photos to...

Re: Upgrade Windows and the C-drive

Thanks Hert,

I suspect there is an issue with me and my connection, I will do some more investigations
And the fact that the photos are uploaded proves the connection is alive. Just don't understand why I don't see any folders?
