Re: Sort by Script

Hmm, the "Sort by macro command" is the only script that doesn't need changing. You should be able to select it from the drop down and clicking "Sort by Script". Make sure to single click, not double click.
By the way, I like the new interface plus V4 seems much snappier.
Thank you.

Re: Categories - little flags

You can download some flags from public/free image websites. Then click the little thumb for a label name in PSU and select "Select..."

Of course it's way easier for import them to PSU first and then drag and drop the thumbnail to the label's thumbnail.

Re: Sort by Script

I see that a small change is needed for some Sort Scripts due to a change of a function name in V4. But what sort script are you using? I don't recognize the name. Was that script custom made?

Re: License activation

This message is raised when PSU can't write to the documents folder (the folder mentioned in the message). Copy the license file to that folder with Windows Explorer. But best that you give your "Test" user write access to the Documents folder. You could retry it by starting PSU as the administrator...

Re: is there a way to create a video preview thumbnail in photosupreme

PSU shows thumbnails for some formats (there are so many video flavors and it's like the Wild West in video land). If your videos don't show thumbnails then check if your OS can show thumbnails for these videos. Can it? If so then you can try adding your video file format extension as a non-image fo...

Re: Metadata Save / Read to file Question

In Photo Supreme you're better off working with Catalog Labels than keywords directly in metadata as catalog labels transfer to keywords (also read the Cataloging manual in the help menu). The recommended way to copy/paste catalog labels is: 1. Select the source image 2. Open the Label Assignment Pa...

Visit repository.idimager.com and click the book icon (lower right side) for the classes that you can use. Writing your own scripts can be challenging and best to start exploring simple existing scripts.

Re: License activation

If you’ve installed V4 already then start it up. It will run in trial move. In the lower left corner of the application there’s a trial box with a link under the button “I already have my license”. Click that link and point to the downloaded license file.

Re: Import crops from Picasa

Alas , when I click on the thumbmail no image at all, something is broken. Your XMP file has this: <ilesCrop:Left>+0.5</ilesCrop:Left> <ilesCrop:Top>+0.5</ilesCrop:Top> <ilesCrop:Right>+0.5</ilesCrop:Right> <ilesCrop:Bottom>+0.5</ilesCrop:Bottom> Cropping is defined in fractions; meaning the units ...

Re: V4 Pricing

Unfortunately a lot of email servers these days scan the content of the email and determine based on AI if the content qualifies as spam or not. And they simply reject the email, it's not even delivered to your Spam box. Typically about 20% of all newsletters never reach the recipients.

Re: Single user Photo Supreme to Server Edition and visa versa

Hi Andrew, thank you for going with the Server edition. The restore option above was recommended for server-server. Since you’re coming from single and want to switch to server, the tools mentioned is the way to go. But....that tool works for identical database versions, which is not the case for yo...
