OK thanks for letting me know, I can see how that would be frustrating.
"...(apart from one email, you're the first to report this so it seems that hardly anyone still uses FB as a sharing tool)..."
I think this is conditionally true - true for perhaps the majority of your current users, but ...

Re: Share to Facebook
Hi folks
I am trying unsuccessfully to set up PSU sharing to Facebook.
I have read the suggestions provided to the user above and cannot get this to work. I'm getting stuck in a loop.
Here's what I've done:
1. Deleted my very old Share Profile (which didn't work)
2. Set up new Share Profile.

Import problems: nonsense name, & interruption= lost images?
Hi folks,
Two issues - one stressing me out and one just a bit annoying...
1) I set up a new file import profile which imports images from my camera to the catalog; automatically renames them (yyyy-mm-dd_CameraName_filename.filetype); files them according to date rules; creates a session import ...

Re: Keywords and such
Hi Bob, I'm not a super-user or anything, but have been using IDI/PSU for a while. I don't use delimited, only hierarchical, and do find parent level keywords really helpful. My 2c.
Cheers & Happy New Year,
Laura

Re: How do I detect duplicates?
Great, thank you very much Hert! I'm sure others will find this useful too!
I can't be the only one who has multiple rename profiles and doesn't quite choose the right one 100% of the time :)
Cheers,
Laura.

Good luck with that. BTW the answer is yes. Clopen sets. Apparently. Some ...

How do I detect duplicates?
Hi folks
I'm wondering if there's a nice easy way looking me right in the face to detect duplicates?
I've had to reimport a bunch of images a few times due to accidentally assigning the wrong renaming profile to them. It would be GREAT if I could easily clean up my mess.
Thanks!
Laura.

Re: Can't launch PSU - error message re database upgrade
I just tried my earlier password in case the 'remembered' one wasn't correct...and it worked!
Thanks a million for the workaround to get the login dialog going again - thank you thank you thank you. (virtual flowers: _*\*|*/*_)

Re: Can't launch PSU - error message re database upgrade
Thanks very much Hert. I just followed these instructions. The key existed and showed 1. I changed it to 0 and then started PSU.
I got a login dialog and my password appeared to be saved. I tried to log in and then got the same error message pop up - 'Your database does not comply with the ...

Re: Can't launch PSU - error message re database upgrade
Thank you both so much. I didn't realise no images in cat.db. I would be happy to either dropbox the cat.db or follow the registry edit instructions if they are clear (I'm sure they would be). Ready anytime, I'll stay by the computer. Thanks a million. Laura.

How to remove 'noise' from images?
Hi folks,
Our wedding photos were unfortunately shot with the wrong setting, which meant that the images are all affected by 'noise'. You probably all know far better than me what that means, but essentially its most noticeable on for example the men's tuxedos, which do not look nice and black, but ...
